Jesum Crow, I'm so bad at this blogging shit. Any one that follows my Twitter knows I'm way too sporadic and distracted to keep everyone up to date on everything. My slogan has always been "call me; we'll party" for a reason. I guess I just wish everyone would ask me what's up next rather than me trying to remember to update my website, Dangerous Entertainment, Myspace, Twitter, and my secret Facebook. Fuck, how are we supposed to keep up with ourselves?!Well Saturday's a long day for this guy. From 6 to 10 I'll be the aural backdrop for Devo member Mark Mothersbaugh's art opening at SR2 Gallery in Berkeley and then we're off to The Ruby Room for the after party hosted by your's dearly at my weekly Crush. It's going to be 8 straight ours of straight awesome.
*Side note:
For all you East Coast heads I know I brag about the fact that seemingly every joint in the Bay has two decks and a passable mixer unlike home but to be honest, the result is a bunch of half-assed kids who have no business on tables wrecking the evening for everyone in the room. Well tonight Sunshine and I went to see Clipse at the Warfield in SF but they cancelled and we weren't about to spend $100 on NERD so Lady Danger suggested we hit up Double Dutch in the Mission. The spot was pretty much just a bar with graff on the walls (see: Williamsburg and then see: I hate Willamsburg) but the jams were kicking soooo fresh we were both shook. That's how we met DJ Mama Bear. For real, check her out. We'll be going to check out her next set at Butter on August 7th.
